Rosaline N. Saloricman's Obituary
With grateful hearts and deep love, we celebrate the life of Rosaline “Rose”, born in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 17, 1930, who passed away in Federal Way, Washington on February 18, 2026, at the age of 95.
Rose was a woman deeply rooted in her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her devotion to Jehovah guided her life and sustained her through every season. Her faith was the source of her strength, steadiness, and hope, shaping the example she set for generations to come.
She was the proud and devoted mother of twelve children: Tina Dilay, Alfred Dilay (Sharron), Cello Dilay, Reggie Dilay (Lucy d.), Steph Mattson (deceased), Fabie Castellano (Garrette), Joel Tanudra (deceased), Donna Davis (Robert d.), Robin Tanudra, Ricky Tanudra (Kim), Timmy Tanudra (Stacie), and Bryan Tanudra. Through them came numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a growing legacy that reflects her endurance, sacrifice, and love. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Bellamy.
Rose worked hard to provide for her family. Preparing meals was often an act of labor and devotion, ensuring everyone was cared for and together. Food meant togetherness. It meant family. It meant connection. She loved to laugh. Being surrounded by her family brought her the greatest happiness.
She was preceded in death by her children Steph Mattson and Joel Tanudra, her husband's Alfred Dilay, Nick Tanudra, and Vince Saloricman, her brother Arthur Nacorda, her sister Nancy Kane, and her parents Ricardo Nacorda and Sautera Bausin. We take comfort in the hope she held close, the promise of peace and restoration.
Rosaline leaves behind not just a large family, but a lasting legacy of faith, resilience, and closeness. Ninety-five years. Twelve children. Generations impacted by one woman’s steady devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Funeral services will be held on March 28, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Mountain View Funeral Home 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW Tacoma, Washington.
