Rosalie Shirley's Obituary
Rosalie Shirley, daughter of Mary and Lee DeWeese, was born on August 26, 1923 in Sherman, Texas. She grew up in Pueblo, Colorado, where, as a young woman, she met Dennis Shirley who was stationed there during World War II. They married after a courtship of just two weeks. Rosalie died on September 13, 2006, one month after their 63rd wedding anniversary. She dearly loved her family. She was preceded in death by her sister Jean Moore, and grandson, Mark Symes. She leaves behind her husband, Dennis, children, Sandi Turner, Diana Shirley Merrill, Dennis Shirley, and Stacy Lundemo, grandchildren Shawn Symes, Nick Merrill, Anna Merrill, and Mike Shirley, and great-granddaughter, Logahn Sue Symes.A celebration of RoseÂ's life will be held at 1:00 PM, September 21, 2006 in the Oak Room at the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
