Roque Duenas Leon-Guerrero's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Roque Duenas Leon-Guerrero, age 78, in Tacoma, Washington. He was born in Tamuning, Guam on August 6, 1946 to parents Vicente and Maria Leon-Guerrero. He spent over 20 years in service to the United States Air Force, retiring with a Master Sargent rank in the career as a paralegal. He went on to retire in a second career with the Clover Park School District.
He has built a beautiful and loving family, who miss him dearly. He is survived by his three daughters, Allison Leon-Guerrero, Janet Robertson (Marvin), Dianne MacNeil (Mick), he was known as “Papa” to his seven grandchildren, Janay, Janamarie, Antonio, Alonzoe, Neva, Kailalani, Keahi and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings in both Guam and in Texas.
Mr. Leon-Guerrero will be laid to rest with his late wife Angelina V. Leon-Guerrero at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. The family of Mr. Leon-Guerrero is having privately held services that honor both his life, his service, and his legacy.
