Ronald Edwin Thompson
Ronald Edwin Thompson, of Gig Harbor, WA, passed away June 15, 2013 at the age of 77. He was born December 1, 1935 to Edwin and Loie Thompson.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Donna, at home, and by daughters, Vicki (John) Talen of Graham, WA, and children, Josh, Hayley, and Seth; and Michelle (Marty) Wittman, of University Place, and children, Kylie and Olivia. He was also loved by his two stepsons, David and Dan Miller, and their children, Amanda, Devon, Anna, Rachel and Wesly, and by many cousins and friends.
Ron graduated from Stadium High School in 1954. He went on to graduate from Washington University. Ron was a local architect. He designed many medical buildings in the Tacoma area. Ron was one of the founding members of the T Series MG Club. His hobby was finding, collecting, and restoring MGs. He was known for being tender-hearted and having a funny sense of humor.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 30th at 2:00 at the Spanaway Park, 14905 Bresemann Blvd. South, Spanaway, WA, at picnic area B. Please come and share your stories and memories about this wonderful man.
