Ronald Hugh Potts' Obituary
Ronald Hugh Potts, of Lakewood, WA, passed away on Friday, 8 September 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was 79. He was born on 10 October 1937 in Sparta Wisconsin and graduated from Logan High School. He served in the United States Air Force for over 30 years, attaining the highest enlisted grade of Chief Master Sergeant and retired in 1986. Ron continued to work for the Air Force as a civil servant at McChord AFB, WA as a Housing Inspector and Contract Construction Inspector for an additional 22 years before fully retiring, for a total of 52 years serving our government.
Ron was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He proudly flew the Packers flag in his front yard all year round and wore their team colors. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
Ron is survived by his beloved Sandy Monsees, sons Jeff (Cathy), Terry (Beth), and Mike, daughter Michelle (Steven), grandchildren, and great-granchildren. He was preceded in death by son Eric Monsees and brother Donald Potts.
Services will be held Monday October 23rd at 11AM in the Aspen Chapel.
