Ronald A. Smith's Obituary
Ronald A. Smith passed away on November 9, 2012. He was born September 10, 1939 in Anacortes, Washington and moved to Burlington at age 12. He graduated in 1959 and then worked at Northern State Hospital and in sawmills. His last job was at Spanaway Lumber, where he worked until retirement. Ronald was the father of seven: Susan, of Spanaway; Steve, Scott, Shawn, and Shane, all of Tacoma; Stewart, of Renton, and Shelley, of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne, Gordon, Chet, Gig, and sister Lorene; and by half-brothers Bob, Jerry, Walt, and Jack Oxenham. Only Ken remains, from Vancouver, WA, as well as 19 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and loads of friends and other relatives.
