Roland Otis' Obituary
In remembrance of Roland "Big O" Otis who was loved my many. Roland passed away peacefully in his Gig Harbor home on May 9, 2022. Otis served on the Tacoma Police Department for 28 years. Roland is survived by his wife of 47 years Karen Otis, his son Jeff (Christy) Otis, his daughters Tami (Keith) Galvin, Lisa (George) Weicker, and Teena (Tony) Roehl. He is also survived by sister, Joan Green and her posse. He had 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Roland could light up a room with his 6'5" frame and his oversized personality. Always ready with a huge smile and a joke. We love you and miss you already.
