Roland C. Bailey
Father, husband, provider, veteran. Born on March 7, 1935 in Chattanooga, TN and departed Aug. 8, 2009 in Tacoma, WA. He served 23 years in the US Army. Roland received his bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University and his master's degree from the University of Washington. He was a member of the Cassia Lodge Order #5 and of the Tacoma Northwest Travelers RV Club as well as a respected deacon/past Trustee at Allen A.M.E. Roland was preceded in death by his wife Frances Ann Bailey as well as his father and mother, Bert and Augusta Bailey. He is survived by numerous family members and loved ones including children: Glemious (Matthew), Leon, Delores (Jerome), Frank, Jarvis, Ted, Sonya, Roland Jr., Lamborghini, and Aleshia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law: Betty Jean Gardner and Sophia Washington of Natchitoches, LA.
