Roger Morris Tresham's Obituary
Went home to the Lord August 14, 2004 surrounded by his family. Born October 15, 1920 to Otto Ray and Faye Tresham in Medford, OR. He entered the Army Air Corp in 1938, served in WWII, and retired after 30 years as Chief Master Sgt. He worked for Boeing and Cable Craft as a Quality Control Inspector. He was a lifetime member of the Pacific Peaks Girl Scouts, and attended the Community of Christ Church. In his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish. After settling in Tacoma, his garden was his pride and joy. He was a very loving and generous man, always ready to listen and help when he could. His faith in the Lord made him very special to all.He leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years, Vivian; daughters, Patricia, Deborah, and Jennifer; grandkids, Sheila, Polly, Melissa, Sean, Timothy, Stephanie, Seth, and Liesel; and 3 great grandkids. He was preceded in death by daughter Susan, brother Raymond, and sister Betty Lou.Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 11am-9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home. Graveside service at 12:30pm Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Mt. View Memorial Park, with a Celebration of Life following at 2pm, at the Community of Christ Church, 6912 40th St. W, Tacoma.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pacific Peaks Girl Scouts.
