Rogelio "Roger" Dacquil Cabaddu's Obituary
Rogelio “Roger” Dacquil Cabaddu, 55, passed away on February 21, 2021 in Puyallup, WA. He was born on September 16th, 1965 in Mozzozzin Norte, Santa Maria, Isabela, Philippines to Gregorio and Maria Cabaddu. He graduated college at Araullo University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) April 15th 1989. After college, he worked with many as a supervisor or area coordinator at various departments and corporations such as the R. S. Challenger Incorporation for 14 years. He assisted designing and overseeing the planning and production of many housing projects in Quezon City, Philippines. He migrated from the Philippines to Washington State in 2015 where he worked at a warehouse of Conagra Foods in Kent, WA.
Roger was a follower of Christ and a member of the Life Center Rainier Church in Tacoma for 5 years. His family will always remember his devotion as a son, brother, uncle and a loving person to his friends and coworkers. He loved reading scripture from his Bible and tending and caring for his plants every day. He was smart, creative, and a true family friend to everyone. He was a trustworthy person, happy, and cheerful- a genuine, warm, and wonderful person with a generous heart.
He is survived by his loving family, mother Maria Cabaddu, siblings Petra Mallanao, Julia Hartzell, Norma Danao, Shirley Bagunu, Florence Manning, Ferdinand Cabaddu, Victoria Hotchkiss, and Marcos Cabaddu, 17 nieces, and 26 nephews.
He always would say, “Our life is not permanent it is only temporary, without God in our lives we are nothing.”
