Rest easy now

This truly breaks my heart to hear Roderick has passed! I was Roderick’s youth counselor at Green Hill School and also the overseer of Touchstone Group Home where he stayed after Green Hill. Roderick and I shared a special bond because I served in the Air Force with his Uncle Bruce. Roderick use to always call me Big Rod and he was little Rod. After Roderick’s release, I kept in touch with him and at times I would stop by his moms to check on him.
Roderick had a heart of gold. I will never forget his huge smile and his laugh. It breaks my heart to know he has passed. I will continue to pray for the family and rest easy lil bro!
God Bless,
Rod
My baby cousin, I live and miss you so much. We had a special bond from way back. I stayed the night with you and you stayed the night with me. You got to witness mom going off on me and I got to witness you getting high in the backyard treehouse. I loved spending every minute with you. As we grew older you were always protective of me. The last couple times you came to visit me, you made sure to tell me that you had a feeling, you had a feeling that my brother wasn’t looking out for me, taking care of me like a brother should. Lol you always had a feeling and I love you for your feelings. Baby boy, lil clown, jr bug, my cousin, I love and miss you so much. Tell my family hello in heaven…until I see you I will always love you❤️❤️❤️ Cousin tootsie!!?
I still cant believe it!! Wow! Rest easy Rodrick. You was an awesome person. I pray for your family that God will help ease their pain. Until we meet again.............. RIP Lil Clown💙
Rodrick was my son-in-law. He was a character. He loved to fish and cook on the grill. He and my daughter, Pebbles, were always having people over for get togethers. So much food and fun. Rodrick always made sure his mother Sharon and I had a great Mother's Day.
He believed in God and had more faith than any person I know. Despite his illness, he would get up and try to make the best of the day. He lived his life to the fullest.
I called him my favorite son-in-law and he called me Moms.
He will forever be missed.
Rest in eternal peace old friend. I'll always remember our free style battles in the garage. I'll see you when I get there big homie.
Rest in Paradise Rodrick, you will be missed. I was praying that you and Tony would see each other again soon, he misses you already. All he talked about was connecting with you again. I remember seeing you laughing, cracking jokes, and talking about fishing. We will always be here for Antoinette and the kids, we love you!!!
