Robin Sue Stone's Obituary
An Angel's Journey Friday, September 13, 1963, an Angel was delivered in Tacoma to the parents of Jim & Claire Ann Stone. She was born with Downs Syndrome and definitely a gift from God. Ms. Robin Sue Stone came home to two superior and loving brothers: Chuck and Jeff, who kept their sister in "fresh fish" from their and her favorite spot on the river-the Cowlitz-CTTA. She graduated from Lincoln H.S. in 1985. Her favorite teachers were Cynthia Cooms and Louise Most. Her neighborhood pals are Rhean, Auntie Selma, Uncle David and "not to be forgotten" Liam and Big Sisters Barbara, and nephew Tyler and Audrey. Her best friend and "Pal Dad" passed away Aug. 02, 2003. God lent me four more wonderful years. "Thanks so much God!" We traveled many miles and took in many memories. We visited Alaska twice, went to Hawaii, and spent Christmas of 2006 on the Mexican Riviera with brother Jeff and niece Megan. This past May we saw the entire Eastern coastline and New England and Canada. Wednesday, August 29, 2007, she took her last and final journey, spreading her mighty wings and happily flying "the Stairway to Heaven." She has now joined her very best Buddy (Dad) and is now having a family reunion with "the Stones" and "the Littles". All my love. We will miss "Our Angel," but she will be with us in spirit always.09-13-63 08-29-07
