Roberta Eileen Axtell's Obituary
Roberta Axtell passed away July 14, 2021 after a significant brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Derald R Robinson, Sr and Winnie Maijala, her brothers, Derald (Ronnie) Robinson Jr and Fred Johnson, and her sister Deborah Fernholz. She is survived by her son Jeff Axtell and grandsons Nikolas and Gabriel Axtell. She was a lifelong resident of Pierce County and a graduate of Lincoln High School.
Her first career at Pacific NW Bell included early retirement from US West, followed by a second career as a real estate sales associate with Lakewood Villa Realty, where she found one of her true passions. After retirement from these careers, she served her local community as HOA President, which she considered her way of supporting her neighbors. She made many lifelong friends in every endeavor and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
A private graveside service will be held on July 27 and a Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled in August to allow those who knew her and loved her to laugh and celebrate.
