Robert Wayne Wonner Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Wayne Wonner Sr. (Bob) soared into heaven on December 17, 2014 at the age of 73. Bob was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 6, 1941 and moved to Tacoma with his family in the early 1950’s. Bob was a member of Wilson High School’s first graduating class in 1959. After serving a tour in the US Navy, Bob worked at Tacoma Rail for nearly 40 years retiring in 2002. He was an avid bowler, coin collector, dog lover, and sports fan especially of UW and Seahawks football.
Bob was preceded into heaven by his parents William Sr. and Mildred Wonner. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of nearly 50 years Linda Lou, his son Robert Jr. (Rob) his brothers Dick, Bill, Jim, and sister Faith along with many in-laws, nephews and nieces.
A memorial service for Bob will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park Saturday January 31st at 300pm.
