Robert John Wilson's Obituary
Robert J. Wilson age 69, a longtime resident of Anderson Island, WA. passed away at home on Monday February 15, 2016. Born in Topeka, KS. October 2, 1946 to Robert and Gerry (Buening) Wilson, he was a United States Army Veteran and enjoyed working with wood art. Surviving are his wife of nearly 27 years, Melody; daughter Naomi Wilson of Seattle, WA. Robert's mother Gerry Wilson of Colorado, one sister Suzy Sommers of Colorado, two step sons Lance and Shane Leihy both of Boise, Idaho. Five grandchildren Miles, Alice, Jody, Shayla and Danny and also by three great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be planned for the spring time on Anderson Island and any remembrances may be made in his memory to the Anderson Island Historical Society or A.I.H.S. 9306 Otso Pt. Rd. Anderson, Island, WA. 98303.
