Robert Wayne Stewart Jr.'s Obituary
Robert (Bobby) W. Stewart Jr. passed away December 3rd, 2024 at the age of 49.
He was born March 26th, 1975 in Columbus, Georgia, while his dad was stationed at Fort
Benning. In 1976, the family moved back to Tacoma.
Robert graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1993. After graduating, he moved to
Phoenix, Arizona to attend Universal Technical Institute, where he earned an associate degree
in HVAC Systems.
Robert worked at several dierent electrical companies over the years, and was currently
employed at his time of death with Valley Electric. He was an IBEW Local 46 Foreman with 25
years in the union.
Robert loved his job as an electrician. He was known for his sense of humor and his work ethic
by all who knew him.
As a child, he learned how to work on cars from his dad. They built many engines together, and
he had a passion for speed. He built a race car, which he took to the speedway. His slogan was
“go big or go home”, which to him meant the faster the better.
He had a big love for animals, and left behind his dog Peanut whom he adored. He also had a
koi pond and a 7 ft. aquarium in his home.
He enjoyed remodeling his home, and was very good at it.
Robert was proceeded in death by his dad, Robert Sr., on January 10th, 2023. He is survived
by his loving mother Jeanne, sister Megan, and his nephew Stephen Cooper.
