We will always remember Bob's involvement in so many parts of our community. Working with Bob and Karen was always a fun time.
We spent many summers at the lake as our two families had summer homes next to each other. How many miles did we walk on the "old indian trail"? How many fish did we catch off the dock? How many times did we swim to the "log"? With Grandpa and his drum, we marched the cove every 4th of July. We built the "B & J" clubhouse on the old outhouse site. But i don't think we got in much trouble, save knocking down the birdhouses at Lud & Kak's!! So many more memories!! Rest in peace, cuz. My blessings to your family.
Bob was a truly inspirational leader in the American Legion. Together with his equally talented wife Karen, every Post he was affiliated with benefited from their many contributions. Humble, honest, and positive, Bob served his country and community with honor, integrity, and unceasing energy. Fair Winds and Following Seas, Bob!
I am so sad to hear of Bob's passing. I met Bob through other friends of mine, and my first impression of him was how nice and friendly of a person he was. He will be missed.
