Robert S. McCall's Obituary
Robert McCall, Sr., 88, passed away Dec. 2, 2010 due to complications from a fall. Born Jan. 28, 1922 in St. Paul, MN, he was a WWII Navy veteran serving in the Pacific. He moved to Tacoma in 1953. He worked as a pipefitter in the shipyards and building trades fitter from Local 26 and belonged to many fraternal organizations.
He is preceded in death by his second wife Ruth (Fox) McCall and brothers Frank Jr., Lee, Roger and Richard McCall. Surviving are sister, Marcella Monroe; brothers, Howard and Cash McCall; daughter Maureen (Michael) Freeman; son Robert (Terri) McCall, their children and grandchildren; along with his Knoblauch/Fox stepchildren and their grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at Mountain View's Garden Chapel, reception following in the Oak Room. In honor of his military service, Robert will be buried at Tahoma National Cemetery. Please make any remembrances to a favorite charity.
