Robert Royal's Obituary
Robert Royal, born in Eudora, Arkansas on October 22, 1935, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most. He was a remarkable man whose life was defined by service, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Robert proudly served in the military, dedicating himself to a cause greater than himself. His commitment and passion for his work left a lasting impact on those who served alongside him. Beyond his service, Robert was a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light to many—always ready with wisdom, kindness, humor and a helping hand.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeri Royal; daughters Victoria Duncanson, Robin Royal, Linda Knecht, Dawn Gomez, and Saudi McVea; and his son, Terry Acton. He leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister Elma Jean White, and a large extended family and circle of friends who loved him dearly. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Greg Royal.
Robert’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the stories he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at Lakewood Elks, 4:30pm, following his interment at Tahoma National Cemetery on October 17, 2025, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers or any non-profit of your choosing.
