Robert Rademacher's Obituary
Robert Rademacher Loving husband, father and brother, peacefully passed away on 9/12/2012.
Born in Chicago on 3/1/1928 to Lilly and Albert Rademacher, he grew up in the Tacoma area and lived in Renton and Federal Way. He served his country in the Marines during the Korean War, driving amphibious units and teaching cold weather survival.
When he returned from active duty, he attended the Univ. of Washington, where he met Eleanor, his loving wife of 57 years. He graduated with a bachelor's degree and worked briefly for the State of Oregon before joining his parents' family business, later having a long career with Boeing Computer Services that spanned 27 years.
Bob loved being out on the water, fishing, camping, and spending time with family.
His passing will be mourned by his sister Elaine, his wife Eleanor, and their 3 children, Susan, Robert, and David. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Evan, Eric, Amy and Kayla.
Funeral service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA, Thursday, 9/20/2012 (viewing 1-2:15pm), with graveside service at 2:30pm. Reception immediately following the service.
