Robert A. Peterson's Obituary
Robert A. Peterson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Robyn; children, Carl (Karen), Kris (Rosemary), Heather, and Rebekah (Mark); grandchildren, Christopher (Abby), Erik (Brianna), Maria (Rebekah), Alexander (Taylor), Daniel, Emily, William, and Thomas; and great grandchildren, Liam and Skye.
Bob grew up in DuPont, WA. He attended Washington State University and gained a Masters in Education from the University of Washington. Bob taught for 28 years before retiring from Lakes High School in 1982. He then worked as a financial planner for Ameriprise for an additional 22 years.
Bob was an active member of the Lakewood Rotary and a faithful servant of Christ Lutheran Church for over 60 years.
Bob will be remembered for his love of education. He loved the challenge of always learning, helping, others, and having a lasting impact on everyone he met.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Lakewood on Thursday April 16th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakewood Rotary Scholarship fund.
