Robert John Nilles
Robert died peacefully at home after a two year battle with cancer on November 10, 2013. He was born on April 9, 1947 in Tacoma and was raised in Orting, Washington by his loving parents along with his brother and sister. He later attended Orting High School where he played on the varsity team in all sports. Soon after High School Robert joined the U.S army and was enlisted for four years. After being a general contractor for thirty- three years, he retired to be with his wife of forty-seven years, Elsie. Robert is survived by his two sons, Ken and Robert and his two daughters Karrie and Tara Lei along with his five grandchildren and one great grandchild. The graveside service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Friday, November 22 at 11:30 am.
