I’m Jack Hamilton, I have known Bob since I was 15. We met in Republic when Bob was on his yearly hunting trip with his buddies, my dad yelled at the group for camping in the middle of a road. Which became a life long friendship. I’m going to miss him and his stories from 46 years of being apart of our extended family. Bob always had his coffee pot on and a big smile when ever we made it to Tacoma. Bob always made sure we had a great time, baseball, Taste of Tocoma or a BB-Q in his yard. Bob always took care of family and friends. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Bob was loved by many.
To my brother - I will always remember my visits to Tacoma over the years and how proud
you were to show us your beautiful state, especially the mountains, my favorite being
Mt Rainier and also Pikes Place Market (not your favorite)! There are many good memories, our Alaska Cruise and the trip to Hawaii that we shared!
I will miss your trips home to York and was looking forward to you and Michelle's visit
in October. I know you were looking to seeing my new condo.

Memories of Bob- great big teddy bear hugs. He was the one of kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. When we were stationed at Ft Lewis from 1990-1993 Bob and Sharon took as under their wings. The door was open for dinner or a long night of visiting and telling bad jokes. He shared many a story of hunting the mountains of Ferry County with Dad, made me feel like I was there around the fire with them. The loss of my dad and Bob both in the same year is going to leave a huge whole this season around that fire. I’m sure the rest of the guys will tell the stories with a great amount of laughter of both Big Bob and Good Ole Bill. Keep the mountains full of laughs and a few tears. RIP
