Robert Mann's Obituary
Bob Mann, devoted father, husband, brother, and friend to all, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born in Chicago, IL, raised in Louisville, KY, and called Tacoma home for the last 20 years.
Bob honorably served in the Army for a total of 22 years and 2 months and retired as a Sergeant First Class in 1999. He continued to serve his country for another 18 years as a civilian employee at Ft. Lewis/Joint Base Lewis McChord.
Bob is survived by his wife, Yun, and daughter, Tabin, sisters Mary (Smitty) and Linda, brother Ronnie (Cindy), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Johns and Jeannette, and nephew John.
The viewing will be at 10:30 a.m., with a service following at noon, on July 19, 2016, at Mountain View Funeral Home, located at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
Flowers are welcomed, but for those who would like to donate to a charity in Bob’s name, the family asks donations to be made to Fisher House Foundation.
