Robert "Bud" Magnuson's Obituary
Bud was born on March 27, 1934 in Bellingham, Washington to Elmer and Gertie Magnuson. He passed away on April 17, 2020 after a tough battle with cancer. Bud grew up in Klamath Falls, Vancouver, and Longview, then back to Bellingham, graduating Bellingham High, class of 1952. Bud entered the Air Force in 1954 and served until 1959. He met his wife Ginette in France and upon mustering out of military, settled in Oakland, California where he worked for Union Oil Company until 1973. Bud moved back to the Pacific North West and worked for Steilacoom Ferry from 1974 until 1980 and Washington State Department of Transportation from 1981 until retiring in 2003. Bud is survived by his brother Jim, sons Eric and Stephen, grandchildren Ariel and Jett, and great granddaughter Camille.
