Robert M. FrittsOctober 17, 1920 Â- December 18, 2003 Robert (Bob) M. Fritts passed away with his family by his side on December 18, 2003, in Issaquah, WA. Bob was born in Seattle, WA on October 17, 1920 to Monroe and Helen Fritts. Bob married Isabel McPherson on April 26, 1944. Isabel passed away on February 16, 1978. Bob married his present wife, June Hart Myers, on June 11, 1983. He served in the United States Merchant Marines in World War II from 1944 Â- 1946 as a Seaman in the South Pacific. After the war, he was employed with the Washington State Ferry system as a third mate. Bob worked as a meat cutter for Tacoma Meats in Tacoma, WA, and retired from Safeway Stores as a meat cutter in 1979. He was a former member of the Elks, and loved boating, camping, and the outdoors. Bob is survived by his wife June, his children Patricia Swanson, Linda Webber, Bernie Myers, Denny Myers, Gary Myers, Fern Hill and Linda Rogerson, 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Each and every one of us were touched by his love and kindness and his legacy will live on forever. Memorial services will be held Monday, December 22, 2003 at 1:00 PM in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
