Bob was the best church secretary I ever had. His filing system could be best described as horizontal rather than vertical, characterized as piles arranged on top of his desk. He could always find everything, however, because everything was in the right pile.
He was also a good friend in need. When my daughter, Betsy, was left by the side of the road near Ellensburg on her way back to college in Bellingham in our old VW beetle, Bob dropped everything and rode with me to use his VW repair skills to help me get the car back home
Bob was a member of the "greatest generation," along with his wife, Betty, who did a lot of the heavy lifting with the family. I wish you all Godspeed in your new life and peace and confidence for the family. George Allen
