Robert Gordon Loper's Obituary
Robert G Loper born in Des Moines Iowa December 9,1928. He lived the majority of his
life in Tacoma Wa. He graduated from Clover Park High School. He married Edna P
Willis in 1950. They spent the first year of their marriage in Ft Worth, Texas. They
moved back to Tacoma in 1951. They were married for 47 years until her death in 1997.
Bob and Edna had 4 sons, Steve, Rick, Cliff and Tim. 10 Grandchildren and numerous
great grandchildren.
Bob worked at several jobs throughout his life. Starting with Rainwater Poultry,
Pederson Poultry, and Dairy farm work. He then joined the Labors Union and worked
out of the hall for close to 40 years.
Bob attended Eatonville Baptist church and Rainier Chapel. He also enjoyed helping
churches in the area do masonry work on their church buildings. He traveled to
Honduras on a couple of occasions to work on school and church buildings.
The family has lived in the Yelm area for over 50 years. He is survived by a Sister Francis
Stender of Fairfield, WA. South of Spokane, WA.
