ROBERT JACK LONG SR
June 17, 1947 - August 21, 2021
Robert "Bob" Jack Long Sr. Was born to parents Alvin and Grace Long on June 17th, 1947 in Jefferson, Ohio. Bob later joined the United States Army, where he served honorably in Vietnam and for many years as a Military Police Officer.
Bob passed away August 21st, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Maricel Obial (from Philippines) of 16 years of marriage; two children from first marriage: Robert Jr. (son) and Michelle (daughter).
Brothers Ronald Long, Ed Long, Keith Long, Gary Long, and sisters Chacita Williams and Mae Larkins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Bill Long
He will be missed and forever in our hearts
Special thank you to Madigan Army Medical Center doctors and nurses and another healthcare team who cared for Bob, Envision Hospice team, family and friends, and neighbors who helped us during this moment of life and death.
In his final days, it was Bob's wish that donations in his memory be made to help disabled veterans. Having overcome amputation and disability himself, he was passionate about helping others.
