Robert L. Kaler Robert Lloyd Kaler, Chief Warrant Officer W4, Ret. USAF, age 84, a Lakewood resident since 1967, went to his heavenly home, June 30, 2004. Born in Morrison, Illinois, WWII veteran of the Pacific Theatre, served as Air Force band director in Europe and the US, retired after 30 years of dedicated services. He was a member of LDS church, a member and band director of Affifi Shrine Lodge, and a member of Steilacoom Masonic Lodge, Amaranth and Lewis Chapter #198 OES. Survived b his loving wife of 58 years Christena, sons Robert (Wendy), Ronald (Carmen), and Larry (Susan) Kaler, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 5, 2004 at 11:00AM in the Mt. View Garden Chapel, Lakewood, WA. Internment with full Military Honors will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 12:30PM at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
