Robert Lee Jansen's Obituary
Robert Lee Jansen “Bob” was born April 20, 1949 in Tacoma and passed away suddenly August 30, 2014 at his home in Roy, WA. He was a Vietnam veteran with the United States Marine Corps, and served for many years as Chief of Police/Officer for Yelm, Algona, Roy and Buckley Police Departments. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather and really enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Patricia McGoldrick-Dobson, Richard Jansen and step-father Gilbert Dobson. Bob is survived by his wife Kimberly Marlow-Jansen; daughter Raquel Boucher (Art); sons Chris Jansen, William Whitehead (Erika) and Christopher Whitehead; grandchildren Michael Butler, Tawny Hoskins, Coleman Boucher and Skyler Whitehead; and brothers Rick, Kip and Jay Jansen, Bill, Don, Jack, John and Mike Dobson. Bob’s celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 12, 2014
