Robert S. (Bob) Hughes
LCDR USN (Ret)
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, January 24, 1927. Bob loved being in the Navy. He joined at the age of 17 and retired in 1972 at the age of 45.
Bob will be missed by all, especially his family, including three children, three step-children, and his wife of 40 years, Juanita M. Hughes. Anything he ever did was affectionately called by his friends and family “A Bob job”.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 19 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. Remembrances may be shared at www.mountainviewtacoma.com.
