Robert Eugene Herth's Obituary
Robert Eugene HerthBorn in Endicott, WA on July 8, 1923 to Jacob and Helena Herth. Robert passed away on August 5, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois, Canine companion Mi Mi, children Robert Jr. (Yvonne), Lynn (Mike), and Lori. Grandchildren John, Jodi (John), Andre, Tracey and Brian. Great Grandchildren Eris, Kyle, and Kiersten. Sisters Rosalie, Marion and brother Jack (Jodi). Robert had a deep seated love for his country and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was honored with a purple heart. After serving his time in the Army, he worked for the government as a Procurement Officer. He retired from the government and worked as a manager for Harkness Furniture Store. He retired again to enjoy his winters in Hawaii and his summers at the beach cabin in Vaughn Bay, WA. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manor Care for the kindness they provided for him and his family. There will be a memorial service held on Thursday August 12th at 12:00 noon in the Aspen chapel of Mt. View Funeral Home. Robert will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 12:30PM.
