Robert E. Crouch's Obituary
ROBERT CROUCH
Robert Earl Crouch "Bob" Crouch (U.S. Army, Ret.) died January 11, 2012. He had recently lost his beloved wife Ruth in Nov. of 2011. He went to join her on their 60th anniversary, and celebrated in heaven. Bob was born in Canton, IL, joined the Army, and was stationed at Fort Lewis, where he met his lovely bride. They travelled the world together while he spent his career in the Army, he the ultimate soldier, she the ultimate soldier's wife. While traveling, they had two children, R. Michael Crouch (Deborah) and Jenny G. Crouch (Joe). The family travelled extensively together and enjoyed each other totally. After retiring from the Army Bob went to work for the Boeing Company, and Bob and Ruth travelled the world all over again. Per Bob's instructions he only wanted his obituary to read, "He came, he saw, he conquered." We did what you wanted. We will be celebrating both Ruth and Bob's life this Saturday, January 14, 2012, 1 pm, at Lakewood Presbyterian, 8601 104th Street SW in Lakewood. Bob will be interred at Ft. Lewis Cemetery, date to be determined.
