I worked with your husband/dad at St Josephs when he was in the rehab department. I was his physical therapist. I can't admit to remembering all of my patients in these past years, but I vividly recall laughing and listening to Bob as the sun shown through the windows. He always worked hard and had a smile on his face. When he was discharged, he gave me two of the bullets that he used to fire from his long distance targeting gun. One of them is with a colleague in the outpatient center (to protect them too) and the other is sitting on my desk. He's one of the ones that I'll never forget. I'll miss him and I'm praying for you and your family to get through this tragic time.

I had to let you know how sorry I am. Women can sense both a good woman and a good man AND a good marriage. When I met you, I sensed all three. You were very blessed to have 38 full years together, and I am sure it would have been longer. I often ask myself why is it that the good are taken? But then I am reminded that only the good are allowed to enter Heaven's gates.

Rosie, I am beyond shocked. I never expected this, 30 or 40 yrs from now yes, but it's too soon! My husband too had a stroke about 10 yrs ago, so I watch him closely.
I pray for Holly and Jason too, as this time especially is hard to lose the one you love. If there is any consolation you can say the
life you spent with Bob was worth every moment. He will always be with you as you were with him.
