Robert L. Dean's Obituary
Chief Warrant Officer 2, Ret ARMY , Robert Leon Dean of Spanaway, Washington passed away at Saint Joseph's Hospital on April 21, 2022 after an extended illness. He was born in Torrance California April 26, 1946 to Ceburn Leon Dean and Eutha Majorie Mac Lean. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years InSuk (Tina) Dean, daughters Debra (Jeremy) Welke, Linda (Irvin) Jenkins and Sandra Lee Dean, 5 beloved grandchildren: Evan, Regan, Clayton, Mikayla and Logan, sisters and brothers, Morrene Stewart, Doris Lee Bias, Jenine Cullen, Joy Mae (Rai) French, Thomas (Luann) Dean, Steven (Kathy) Dean plus a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and church friends.
Robert (Bob), served in the Army 20+ years learning and utilizing several Asian languages during and after the Vietnam war. He then worked within the Washington state system for an additional 20+ years. In his retirement years Robert enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working in his yard and learning about his Scottish heritage attending the Highland Games with his sister, niece and great nephew. Services and internment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park Lakewood Washington on Friday April 29th, 2022. Family askes in lieu of flowers or donations that you give to the charity of your choice in Robert's name.
