Jim Zurfluh
Bob and Audrey Clawson gave real meaning to the titles "neighbors" and "community". They were always stepping out to engage with others who lived around them and spent every day manicuring their yard with great pride so others could appreciate it and set a high standard for those around to want to follow. They sincerely cared about what was happening around them, and were willing to offer a hand, a tool or advice on any matter with their meticulous attention to details. They kept a watchful eye on our surroundings and were always looking out for others. With concerns over mail being taken from boxes on the street, they would call us every day once the carrier had delivered to let us know the mail had arrived. They knew the names and phone numbers of every neighbor around them, and were our historians when it came to questions about the community or our little street. They were a great role model for the past, the present and the future for how our communities should be and what a real neighbor was meant to be. They will truly be missed, but the legacy will hopefully be carried on by those around this neighborhood who were touched by their kindness and genuine interest. They have left an incredible impression on us and our children. Rest in peace, Bob and Audrey. Love the Zurfluh's.
