Robert Michael Carrigan's Obituary
Robert Michael Carrigan "Cabo"
October 5, 1953 - June 1, 2019
Bob was not a big guy but did he ever live life large. He always had a quick smile and kindness in his heart unless you pissed him off.
Bob enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1973. He was a shellback and really loved it when the USS Tulare ship was bringing back Marines from Vietnam and they were seasick. How he became Chaplains aide while in San Diego is anyone's guess.
Upon being honorably discharged from the Navy he received his Bachelors degree and went to work for the City of Tacoma.
He spent most of his time fishing with his best friends. Oh, the fishing stories he could tell. I know he put his house where it is because he could go fishing before work.
His favorite statement is, "Living the dream, no bad dayz!"
I am going to miss him very much as I know his relatives and friends will also. But he always said, "do not grieve for me, gather around, throw back some beers and tell fishing lies."
Goodbye my brother and best friend... love, your sister.
