I remember Robbin as a little tow-headed boy who tagged along behind his brother to Beginner's Training Union at Temple Baptist Church many, many years ago. He didn't say much but he had this wonderful smile that used to light up his entire face when you could get him to smile. Misses Mary and Helen Smith who ran the Training Union were wonderful with all of us kids during those Sunday evening hours when our parents were in church and I warmly remember their many kindnesses and the loving way they taught us to love the Lord with all of our hearts, souls and our minds. But I will always remember Robbin who sat so quietly and watched some of the antics of the more "energetic" boys in the group - Tony and Andy Bittner, Phil Whitt, Tim Rubottom and a few more whose names escape my memory right now. He always reminded me of a small little bird, like his name, and I often wondered later on in life, how much his name had shaped his early years. I shall miss knowing that Robbin has gone on from this life to the next but I am comforted that we will see Robbin one day soon when we will all join together again in Heaven. I will once again be reunited with my family members who have gone on as well, my brother Bill, My Dad and Mom and my Aunts Edna and Edith. What a wonderful reunion we shall have -- and I for one an looking forward to seeing Robbin once again!!
