Rita Kodama Ferguson's Obituary
Rita Kodama Ferguson passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 65 in Olympia, WA. She was born on December 1, 1958, in Tacoma, WA.
Rita was a kind and beautiful soul who brought smiles and laughter wherever she went. She was a selfless person, always ready to support those in need. Family meant everything to her, and she found her greatest joys and accomplishments in her children and grandchildren. Rita's presence lit up any room she walked into, and she will be deeply missed by the countless lives she touched during her time here on earth.
Rita spent over 30 dedicated years working for the Franciscan Health System HIM Department. Her commitment and passion for her work were evident to all who knew her.
She will be joining her father David White Sr, sister Ruth Bullen, mother Fumiko Kodama, and brother Willie White in heaven.
She is survived by her three loving children, Ben (Selly), Nicole (Ken), and Jessica (Clayton). Sister Risa Ransom (John), and 5 brothers. As well as nieces/nephews, grandchildren, close friends and loved ones.
Rita's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her. Her kindness, selflessness, and love for her family will forever be cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 21, 2023, at 2pm at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery with reception to follow: 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
