Ric was one of my favorite cousins and we spent many times going dancing and probably drinking too much in our 20’s. I’d make him go ask girls to dance so the guys in the dance hall knew he wasn’t my date. We had a lot of laughs and fun at Lake Louise spending time with Clyda, Ruben and Mervin Wolf. It was a time when family meant so much in our lives. He will be missed! He always made sure the family got together and was a special person. Kurt and Karen, thank you for being with him, even in death.

Rick and I were first cousins. Traditionally our families alternated Christmases, celebrating in Odessa and then Tacoma and finally Lakewood.
As time passed, Ric became my "go to" for information about the Wolf family and it's descendants, as he had a very strong sense of connection to the family.
The last time I spoke to him, which we did infrequently, was about a family matter. In that conversation, he mentioned that he was going to Odessa, which he loved, for Memorial Day to visit his family there. I remember his expressing his desire to be with his folks and his sister Maureen when the time came. About a week later, he was gone.
I wish Bill and I could be there today, but it just wasn't realistically possible.
My love to all who mourn him.

To Ric's family and friends, I am so sorry that Ric has passed away. He was my son-in-law for a number of years and my husband and I had great times with Ric - talking, waterskiing, snow skiing and just spending time together.

We are deeply sadden with the passing of Ric. He always looked forward to seeing what artwork Danielle was bringing to the convention. The Letter Carriers were our second family and Ric was like a grandfather figure to Danielle and made sure she was fine. She grew up with the WASALC and a lot of them saw her from she was little until she passed away. After Danielle passed away, we made sure that at least there was one of Danielle's artwork that was auctioned off and Ric was right there ready to bid on it. It was fitting that Ric got the piece for this year last convention. Thank you Ric for always being so kind and caring with us, especially Danielle. I'm posting 2 pictures I found of Ric & Danielle with her artwork. Rest in Peace my friend and say "Hi" to Danielle.

Rickey as I knew him as a very young ambitious boy in our neighborhood. They had the perfect tree to climb, teeter totter and swing which was shared by all the neighborhood kids. Rick was the cute kid with a great smile. I was one of the older kids in the neighborhood. Our neighborhood had many kids all ages. Great place to grow up. Sorry for his loss. Very dedicated, kind and caring person.

I grew up with Rick in Odessa. My mother was the bookeeper for Al Wolf, Ricks dad, at Wolf Auto in Odessa. After high school our paths crossed again as Rick was going to CWU where I also went to college. Rick was a fun guy and loved by many. While I had not seen him for years I always considered Rick one of my best friends.
