Dick was a huge influence in my life. Smart, kind, giving and fun to share life with.
My childhood was filled with many ski trips and family vacations with Dick (and Barbara). It was beautiful and an honor to be exposed to so many places around the US & Europe and Dick generously made this happen. He taught me at a very young age to never gamble, as we would bet on which elevator doors in the hotel lobby would open first and I would lose everytime. Pizza Casa will always hold many memories of the many dinners our families had together. Dick's giving heart and excellence in everything he did will be a loss to the lives he touched, for sure!!
I don't know what to say. He was a great athlete, and an even more generous person. The years spent skiing with him and flying with him were some of the best and most special times of my life. He never did get old.
Scott: I was sorry to hear of your father's passing. It sounds like he lived a life full of adventure and love for the outdoors. Although it has been years since we have seen each other, it sounds like you followed closely in his footsteps. May God comfort you in the coming days.
