Richard Trerice's Obituary
Richard Douglas Trerice, born on January 20th, 1948 in Tacoma, WA, passed away on February 27th, 2023, in Olympia. He was the son of Clarence “Bill” Trerice and Alice Duttrey.
Richard attended Mount Tahoma High School and later served six years in the U.S. Air Force, where he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following his military service, he worked as an electrician for the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Richard was a man of many talents and interests. He had a passion for wood carving, mushroom hunting, and rock collecting. He was also a devoted dog owner and never went without a furry companion by his side.
Richard is survived by his sister Judith McKenzie, son Lucas, and granddaughter Mira. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Richard's life will be held on Saturday, March 18th, at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood. His friends, family, and loved ones are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
