Richard Seed's Obituary
Richard Brian Seed was born February 27th, 1957 in Seattle, Washington to Peter and Margaret Seed.
Richard has two living siblings: a sister, Marcia Seed from Tacoma, WA and a brother, Wayne Seed from Woodland, WA. Richard's father and his other sister, Kathleen Seed, preceded him in death.
During Richard's life he spent some time in out-of-home placement and also was in the state institution in Buckley, WA. Richard spent time in group homes and assisted living programs. He came to live at Aceres Landing where Ms. Eve Guise was his first house manager. Richard spent years with Aceres until it changed to Dungarvin where he continued to live until the time of his passing.
Richard met many different people to assist his life in the community and make it successful. Richard also participated in many programs and activities that were the best for him and his quality of life throughout this time.
Richard loved sock monkeys and emergency vehicles, especially when it came to police cars. He would even tell you he's a cop and get very excited to let you know. Also, Richard was very interested in vintage/old vehicles. He had the opportunity to visit both the police department and fire department and also the LeMay car museum in Tacoma which he enjoyed and didn't want to leave.
When Richard was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer it was very hard news to receive. He had good days and rough days but kept going strong. He was a true fighter who fought all the way to the end.
