I remember a couple years ago at the Seed Family Reunion that Dick gave me a booklet of poetry he had written and how very nice I thought that was. He was a kind person!
Sorrow that you had to lose him in this life. Looking forward to the next!
Dick would come into my store, Albertsons in Olympia, always came to the deli to say hi and to bring me his newest poem he had written. When ever I’d seen him coming I say really loud” hey dick” and every one would stop and look to see who I was calling a dick, lol it was pretty funny
He came into to tell me how the book store down town Olympia would ask him to read, what an honor.
Then of course sweet Buddy he loved his dog so much.
It was a pleasure to have met him, to read his poems and to wonder about his wife, wonder if she new how much he really loved her. A pleasure to pet his dog and share my breaks with him.
Rest In Peace dear friend.
