Richard Philip Couture's Obituary
Richard Philip Couture Jr., 84, of Graham, Washington, was born in Centralia, Washington. -Å"Phil- grew up in Washington and lived a full life in various parts of the Country but always came back to Washington, his home. He served as a Warrant Officer in the merchant marines during the Korean War. A master of many talents he could sell anything to anyone. He is the holder of several patents. He loved flying and enjoyed sharing the blue skies with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Richard and Josephine Couture, Brothers Ted and Clifford Couture, Sister -Å"Babe- Swanson and first wife Thelma Couture.
He is survived by his wife Helen Couture, Brother Timothy Couture and Sister Charlotte Myers. He is also survived by his four children, Dale Couture, wife Pat, Rodney Couture, wife Irene, Denise Wardle, husband Marvin and Richard Couture, wife Cindy with many grand and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, Washington on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Transform Burien, c/o, Hope Christian Community,632 SW 143rd Street, Burien, WA 98166, 206-244-1399.
