Richard George Nixon, 83, of Tacoma, Washington passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2014. He was born on May 6, 1931. He grew up and graduated in Roy, Washington.
Richard was a union plumber out of Local 26 for 61 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Audrey. His children Richard Nixon Jr., Daniel Nixon (Karen), Joni Cline (Gary), Kathleen Skaar (Duane), and sister Janet Baccus (Dwaine). He has 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son Stephen Nixon, Brother Robert Nixon and parents.
He was a cowboy, motorcycle rider and avid camper his whole life. After retirement he traveled around the country in the motorhome and spent the winters in Arizona.
He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. He is truly loved and missed by all those that knew him.
