Richard Mistron's Obituary
Richard "Dick" Mistron Richard was born in New York City on August 19, 1930 to Charles and Emma, the youngest of five siblings. He passed away peacefully in Tacoma on May 18, 2008. Richard served in the Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic for 27 years, retiring in 1974. He then served the Army as housing manager at Ft. Lewis for 15 years. Richard loved to travel and always enjoyed a good book. He had a wonderful sense of humor up until the end. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Irmgard, his son, Richard Charles, his daughter-in-law, Zeatha, sisters-in-law Ruth Mistron and Leni Nieten, Hans-Jurgen Nieten and family, Ute Stolp and family, Tom and Dottie Johnson, Irmgard Nieten, and numerous other relatives. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, May 26, 2008 at 2pm at United Lutheran Church, 1231 S. 76th St., Tacoma, WA 98408. Military Honors are scheduled for a later date.
