Richard “Rick” Bruce Marshall
Mr. Richard Bruce Marshall 84, of Puyallup, WA died June 4th, 2024. He was born in DeRuyter, NY on September 26th. Son of Alice Leona and Walter F. Marshall. Richard grew up in DeRuyter and after graduating high school he joined the US Army for 13 years followed by joining the US Army Reserves, he received an award of recognition of 25 years of dedicated federal service under the Provision of the civil service retirement act in 1997.
He also received a certificate in recognition of 35 years of service in the government of the United States of America.
After the military he worked at Fort Lewis doing what enjoyed most, being a sheet metal specialist in the civil service while retiring in 1997.

Richard enjoyed traveling, woodworking, hunting with his buddies and dancing .
Surviving is his wife Jeanie Raker Marshall, 2 sons Thomas P. Marshall of Ocean Shores, Mark W. Marshall and his wife Tiffany Wright-Marshall of Tacoma, WA, 2 daughters Patrice R. Harrel of Spanaway, WA, DeeDee R. Payanoff of Media, PA, 7 grandchildren Robert, Christopher, Amber Jordan, Brian, Ana, Chandler, 5 great grandchildren Peyton, Nolan, Emilia , Bohdi, Maeve
He was also dearly loved by his wife Jeanie and her children Robbie, Dana, Renee, and grandchildren Crystal, Sara, Tylor, and great grandchildren.
Richard was a loving father ,husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a wonderful friend to all whew knew him. He will live in so many hearts with the beautiful memories he left us with.
Richard was proceeded in death by his wife Maureen McGrane in 1990
