Richard D. Leary's Obituary
Richard Douglas Leary, 81, passed away on December 09, 2018 in Tacoma, WA. He was born November 22, 1937 in Duluth, Minnesota to Aune Celia Leary (Luoma) of Finland and George Leon Leary of South Dakota. Richard Graduated from Stadium High School, then served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. After his service he then completed construction electrical course with IBEW Local 76. He worked for over 30 years and retired in 1999 and enjoyed many years of sailing, skiing, reading and searching for gold. He suffered a stroke in 2009, and was very limited in his activities for the rest of his life.
He is preceded him in death be his son, Richard Sufficool, his mother and father and older brother George.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Carmen Lear(Gig Harbor). His Brother Robert Leary (Gig Harbor). His Sons; Scott Sufficool (Minnesota), John Marzano (Gig Harbor), Joseph Marzano and wife Kim(Silverdale). His daughter Patricia Schulz (Gig Harbor). Granddaughters: Katie, Madie, and Amanda. Grandsons: Ken, Zac, and Alex.
Richard will be missed, and is loved, by many family & friends.
